Common questions
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are handled by LemonSqueezy and you can cancel in one click from your receipt email. You keep access until the end of the paid period.
What currency am I charged in?
All prices are in EUR. If we show an amount in your local currency, it is an approximate conversion at the current ECB rate, your bank settles the exact amount.
What do I get for free?
The free plan stays free forever: instant grammar and spelling feedback, 2 deep AI reviews from Nib every week, a free CEFR level check, the placement test and all 39 A1 and A2 grammar lessons, a trial chat with Nib and one scored exam task. Streaks, daily goals and leagues are free too.
What is the free level check?
Every new learner gets one free CEFR level check. You write 80 to 400 words on a short topic and Nib tells you your level, from A1 to C2, with the reason. It does not use your weekly reviews.
Can Nib explain things in my language?
Yes, on Basic Pro and Pro Plus. Set your first language and Nib explains your mistakes, lesson answers, flashcards and phrases in it too, while the English examples stay in English. You choose whether it shows always or only when you tap.
What is the difference between Basic Pro and Pro Plus?
Basic Pro unlocks everything for daily practice: unlimited reviews, all lessons, flashcards, phrases, explanations in your language, 50 conversation turns and one scored exam task a week. Pro Plus is for exam preparation and speaking: unlimited typed conversations, voice conversations (30 premium voice replies a month, top-ups, and an unlimited free voice), unlimited scored exam tasks and full timed mock exams.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Basic Pro and Pro Plus both start with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time before it ends and you are not charged. After the trial, payments are not refundable, and you can still cancel any time to stop the next renewal.
How much do I save with yearly billing?
Yearly plans cost 25% less than paying month to month, Basic Pro is €71.99/year instead of €95.88, Pro Plus is €143.99/year instead of €191.88.
