Talking about members of a group.

The rules

  • "Every" + singular noun + singular verb: "every student receives".
  • Exactly two people → "both": "both of my parents".
  • "Information" is uncountable: "all the information was", never "every information".
  • Price per item goes at the end with "each": "ten euros each".
  • Frequency phrase "every day" sits at the end.
  • "Everyone" is grammatically singular: "everyone was".
