Pronouns after a verb or preposition.

The rules

  • After a verb ("call"), use "me".
  • Grandmother = she, but after a verb use "her".
  • After "with", use "us".
  • Keys = more than one, so "them".
  • Subject "He", and after "to" use "me".
  • Subject (I) + verb (met) + object pronoun (him).

Examples

  • Please call me tomorrow.
  • I love my grandmother. I visit her every week.
  • Do you want to come with us?
  • Where are my keys? I can’t find them.
  • He gave the book to me.
  • I met him at the party.
