so & such
so + adjective, such + noun, and so…that results.
The rules
- "So" + adjective alone: "so hot that…".
- "Such" + (a) + adjective + noun: "such a good film".
- "Such" comes before the article: "such a beautiful voice".
- "So" pairs with many/much/few/little: "so many people".
- Result structure: "so + adjective + that + clause".
- Exclamations with nouns use "What (a)": "What a lovely day!"
