The rules
- go is irregular: go → went (not "goed").
- buy is irregular: buy → bought.
- eat is irregular: eat → ate.
- take is irregular: take → took.
- see → saw. ("seen" is used after have: I have seen.)
- write is irregular: write → wrote.
